Tamara's integrationist theoretical framework includes interpersonal, humanistic/existential, and feminist approaches. She enjoys collaborating with clients to identify effective counseling strategies and interventions. Tamara received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002, her Master's Degree in Wellness Management from Ball State University in 1993, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics/Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989. She completed her Counseling Psychology internship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 2002. Tamara has a diverse professional background. She has taught undergraduate courses in areas such as Health Psychology, Introduction to Multicultural Awareness, and Career and Life Planning. Previous positions include Practicum Coordinator, Counseling Services, SUNY-Buffalo, Director, Worksite Programs, Wellness Council of West Virginia, and Organizational Consultant, Career Resources, Inc.
