advice on communication technique and behavior modification. A must read for the
frustrated parent. "A wake-up call to remind us once again that as parents of ADHD
kids....the greatest amount of change will likely have to occur in US....not in our
child."

Disabilities and ADHD Give You the Tools for Academic Success and Educational Revolution by Jonathan Mooney, David Cole (2000) A practical guide
to help kids, adolescents and the college student. Material is written for those who've
received the label LD or ADHD, but just as helpful for those who've been labeled
"gifted," or any other student who feels frustrated. Appropriate (and
approachable) for the discouraged adolescent.

Adventures in Fast Forward : Life, Love, and Work for the Add Adult by Kathleen G. Nadeau (1996) Practical guide to successful
living with ADD. Clear, concise, insightful. "Not recommend it to someone who
is looking for information about whether or not they might have this disorder and/or are
looking for an explanation of what it involves". This is more of a nuts and bolts
workbook with very practical advice for trying to anticipate the pitfalls of ADD and
looking for strategies to avoid falling into them.

ADHD : Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity... by Paul Wender, M.D. (November 2001)is a pioneer researcher and
clinician who was one of the first to identify and treat children with Attention-Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder, and later to notice the same pattern symptoms in the parents of
these children. He has now thoroughly revised and updated his classic handbook on ADHD.
